Viewers of the sensational TV drama Series, Professor Johnbull, will this week be treated to another exciting edition on vital moral issues as the sitcom critiques the issue of 'trial marriages' by students in tertiary institutions.
This new episode is entitled "Campus Marriage".
"The issue of 'trial marriage' is common among undergraduates, especially those in institutions where there are no established official accommodation or hostel facilities. While in some instances, the campus couples do have the chance of living together as husbands and wives aftergraduation, the majority have tales of woe as the relationships hit the rocks leading to avoidable heartaches. Campus Marriage, therefore, highlights the dangers of 'trial marriages' and the lessons therein are not only for the young ones in schools, but also for parents and guardians".
While encouraging viewers to keep a date with the series, the sponsors noted that "in line with the tradition of Professor Johnbull to highlight moral decadence in the society, the new episode airing this week touches on this behavioural tendency that has eaten deep into the fabrics of social and family values. Viewers will certainly have value for their time as they watch "Campus Marriage".
Starring Kanayo O. Kanayo as lead character, Campus Marriage also features Olaniyi (Yomi Fash-Lanso), Etuk (Imeh Bishop), Ufoma (Bimbo Akintola), Jumoke (Bidemi Kosoko), Flash (Stephen Odimgbe), and Churchill (Jnr. Pope Odonwodo), who are all regulars in the sitcom.
In the new episode, viewers will have the opportunity of getting to know what 'trial marriage' is about and whether, indeed, Jumoke has changed from being a pretentious lady. They will also find out who falls victim of campus marriage and whether trial marriage is real or mere fantasy? Professor Johnbull will close it with his philosophy on campus marriage.
